Most unprofessional way of treating emergency patients
Very professional and friendly staff both doctors and nurses
i spent 6hrs waiting to checked over by a dr, after the 6 hrs i still hadn’t been seen. I asked how much longer it would be and couldn’t get a direct answer, the nurse said to everyone in the waiting room that we would all have at least 7 hr wait from that point on. i discharged my self as i couldn’t wait around for however long it could take . i have still not been checked up as my GP and walk in clinic have said that i would have to get checked by A&E, even though my injuries are not serious. I feel this is a complete failing of the NHS system and A&E, and now it seems i won’t get the medical attention i may need.
For all the good the hospital does. You have to question why the wait is so long to be seen. Going to the hospital for something minor shouldn't be all day affair . There needs to be better communication and organisation throughout the hospital.
I know the staff are underwhelmed but the attitude of some of them is disgusting the waiting times are disgusting to many people telling you one thing then another was there 3 days was not offered clean pyjamas or change the bed the catering staff are rude the hospital was dirty 90year old lady’s left in the corridor the hospital is in a terrible state with EVERYTHING
Worst hospital I've ever had the misfortune of visiting, the wait times were ridiculous, people in the waiting room screaming in pain and no pain relief offered. 10 hours to see a doctor, I ended up discharging myself and driving 3 hours to my local hospital. Absolutely unacceptable
Everyone was kind.
Communication was terrible, waited 12 hours for a bed
Nurses were lovely and caring once I was being looked after
I was there from 11.30 am till 9.45 pm. The lack of staff was unexceptionable. I was told I needed and bladder scan before they die coded if an mri was needed. The scan was nowhere to be seen so was sent home. My gp sent me to A&E for an mri and I was seen for a matter of minutes in all that time.
Between 5pm and 8pm no doctor was on to see patients so they que’s got bigger and bigger.
I will never choose to go to queens hospital A&E department again.
